So today my boyfriend and I went to see a play: The Prime of Miss Jean Brody" It was a play about a school teacher in WWII. Before the play we had lunch at Rosa's and while there a waitress came up to me and told me she thought my outfit was cute...I don't know about yall, but isn't it fun when a complete stranger gives you a compliment. I hardly ever wear this skirt, but I am so glad I did, because it's super comfy, but still looks put together. What's you go to item when you want to look cute, but also want to be super comfortable??

Oh, all this week I have been doing my hair in heated curlers and I absolutely love the look and the last all day. I got these curlers last week for about $20 at Walmart. The curls seem to stay in place much better than when I use a curling iron. I am basically hooked on them already!! hehe :)

Today was one of those mornings where everything seemed to go wrong, the dogs go out and I had to chase them several blocks, someone scratched my bumper in the parking lot, the dress I bought at Target yesterday didn't fit right and I was just whiney.....so what did I did to make my day better? If you didn't catch it from the title, I did some retail therapy. lol I decided to go to Target to get cash back for the dress. I browsed Target for a bit and didn't find anything there, so I decided to go to Goodwill, which I haven't been to in a while. When walkin in Goodwill they had a huge sign on the door...it was 50% off day...Yay!!! Finally hit a bright spot in my day. I had a blast looking in there and walked away with a pair of Gray Ann Taylor dress pants for 2, a black J Crew Cardigan for $2 and a really cutes tan braided and studded skinny belt for $1. My day was instantly improved!! :) What's that store that always makes you feel better when your having "one of those" days?

OOTD: Suit w/a Pop of Color

For work, I love to wear my suits in different ways....breaking them up in peices or adding unexpected pops of color makes plain suits much more fun!! On this day, I had a big meeting to go to, but also wanted to look cute...not too buisness boring lol.

Lately, I have been completly OBSESSED with nail polish....buy it (Elf and Revlon r my current fav brands), wearing it (constantly), changing daily (I need something to do lol) and doing fun designs on my ring finger (Thanks to eleventhgorgeous...look em up on Youtube).

Navy & White Striped Cardi- Regulary over $90 and I got it on sale for $9 at Talbots Outlet

So as you may have noticed, I hit up the Talbots outlet and stocked up on tons of work wear this weekend. That store is going to be my new go-to place for office wear. I fell in love with everything in there for not only the great quality of clothing, but also the fact everything in the store was either 50% or 80% off already reduced prices....OMG!!! I almost died when I found a LBD (Little Black Dress) with amazing neck detailing that was originally priced at $198.00 and I got it for about $16.....yeah, super awesome deals!!!! So I know..I'm way, way behind on the 30 for 30 challenge, but with getting sick, then my bday, then oral surgery...this just has not been the month for a challenge, but I will definately try it again!! :) I think the next challenge I wanna do is following Kimberly's (Fab Finds Under $50) monthly outfit calendar for March. The challenge of following that will be a little less constricted and will allow for shopping in both my closet and stores hehe. How's the 30 for 30 challenge going for you??? Still going strong...or like me and this month threw you things you weren;t expecting that may have gotten in thew way?
