Funky Skirt

So, I got this skirt during a recent thrifting venture.  I was looking to get several skirts, but ended up walking away with just one....this lovely little skirt is a perfect transition piece into fall with it's warm nuetral tones and loner hem line. 

Here's what I wore:
Green Tank- $4 at Target
Black Sweater- $7.99 at Ross
Skirt- $1.50 at Thrift City
Necklace- $1 at the 99cent store
Earring- Came in a set of 6 sets for $5 at MIZ Accessories
Bracelets- Set of two silver beaded bracelets came in a set for $1.50 at Forever 21
Gold bracelet- Came in a set, 6 sets for $5 at MIZ Accessories
Heels- about $11 at Cato

Do you prefer longer more nuetral skirts in the fall or do you simply pair your skimpier summer skirts with tights and heavy weight fabrics to give them just a little touch of warmth?
