Closet Shopping

So the other day I was hangin out at my apartment with nothing to do, so I decided to play around in my closet and put together some new outfit combos and here are a few I came up with......What do you think? Which one's your favorite? (I cut off my head, cus I didn't have my hair done or any makeup on lol...I was lazy)

A Few Shoe DIYs

The first one I did was taking a basic heel and adding a pop of color underneath.
What you need:
-plain colored shoes, fun acrylic paint, paint brush and tape
Directions:
-tape of the section you want to paint (Don't paint the part you walk on, because it will rub off)
-Paint the section in a bright color
-Take the tape off
-Allow the paint to fully dry and then you have new fun and funky heels

Next I took a pair of plain wedges and made them much more fun!
Materials:
-Plain shoes
-studs
-something to bend the prongs down with (I use a little tool that came with my GemMagic)
Directions:
-Decide on a pattern and simply put the studs in place
-Bend all the prongs tightly, so they don't poke your feet
-It's simply and easy to change a pair from plain to fab
.
Here are two different shoes I added studs to:

My First Maxi

So all summer I've been eyeing the maxi dresses and wishing I had one...I was just to scared to try the spaghetti strap low cut ones that are so out of my comfort zone....but when I found this amazing one at a thrift store for $2.99 there was no way I could say no. I absolutely luv it...yay!

.
Here's what I wore:
Maxi Dress-$2.99 at Salvation Army
Sandals-$7.99 (Gifted from gma)
Bracelet-50cents at Claires
Heart necklace-gifted from bf
.
I am luving this look for summer and wanna try and find another maxi like this before summer ends :) ~Kendra~

Some DIY Action

I went to Dollar Tree and picked up a few plain tees for $1 each and I decided to make an exposed zipper tee. I forgot to pickup a zipper, but luckily my mom had one she let me have, so I put it to use. For some extra dazzle I cut off the embroidery on a vintage shirt I got at a garage sale for 10cents. So this whole shirt costs less than $2.
.
Supplies:
Tshirt, marker, hot glue, glue gun, scissors, zipper and embroidery or patch to add design
.
How To:
Firts lay the zipper on top on the tee and draw a little mark where the end of the zipper goes.
Next cut a stright ling down the front of the tee to the end of the zipper.
Then hot glue the zipper onto the tee.
Next glue on embelishments how ever you'd like.
Thats it...now u have a cute exposed zipper tee :)

Another DIY project I recently did was taking a plain tote from drab to fab. All you need is a plain tote and some bedazzle jewels or stud, which u can get in a package at walmart. You dont have to buy the Bedazzler machine...u dont really need it.
.
Supplies:
tote bag, studs or gems and something to bend the brads down (I used old scissors)
.
How to:
Its' really easy. Just place the studs in any design you want and fold down the brads on the back and you have a stylish new tote :) Just look at the before and after pics
