Flowers Galore

If you know me, one thing u probably know about me is that I'm super girly and a sucker for anything floral.  This dress and necklace combo seem to make that perfectly clear. hehe  I just love flowers....I have them in my cubicle at work, at home, on my clothes hehe Flowers galore....

Catching Up

Sorry I was MIA most of last week....I had family in town and it was greatness.  Then after they headed back home I was worn out and forgot all about posting.  Hope everyone had a great wknd.  Here are a few outfits I forgot to post last week.....

I wore the outfit above on Friday for "Jeans Day."  I saw a girl wear white jeans on jeans day a few wks ago and loved how much more summery it looked then regular jeans.  I have had these jeans for over 2yrs and they still had their TJ Maxx tag on them, because they were always too tight.  (I bought them without trying them on)  Well, you guessed it....they fit now :)  Actually the waist is a little big, so decided I better get some use out of before their too big to wear.

Mellow Yellow

I so wasn't feeling good this morning....had a cough, was tired and just didn't feel right.  Glad a had a bright yellow top to brighten my spirits.  Got several compliments today on how peppy I am over the phone....the shirt must've worked. :) hehe Don't outfits you feel good in just make the day a little bit better??!!

Wild Work Skirt

I don't wear this skirt too often, because it is definately a loud piece, but when I do wear it I always feels confident and bold in it.  I don't know if it's the unexpected animal print or the nontraditional work wear aspect, but I just love it.  I scored this awesome skirt at Burlington the day I interviewed for my first post college job (aka, my last job before this one).  I thought my interview went great, but had basically no $$ (Poor college student), so wanted to reward myself in a little way and scored this skirt on mega clearance.  Do you ever reqard yourself with shopping?  Oh I sure do!!! lol :)

Jeans Friday, Take 1

Today was an interesting Friday!!  Started out by discovering I was bitten by a spider, who knows when, and it has made my ankle super tender all day.  Then started taking my first customer calls post training all by myself and oh my, that was fun, no seriously, I really love it.  I obviously still have a million things to learn and am pretty sure I asked my coworkers like a 100 questions today, but it went great. :)  Didn't leave work for lunch, just had a lunchable, because I have this new theory that all restaurant food make me feel sick...no bueno!!!  Finally and most excitedly....it's Friday, which means 2 very important things....we got to wear jeans to work, which I like once a week and the weekend is upon us.  This last week of training has been intense and I have really enjoyed it, but I definitely appreciate the weekend and getting caught up on rest and randomness. :)  So after that little Friday ramble, on to my outfit.....

Jewel Tones

I had a floral dress with hot pink peep toe wedges all set out to wear this morning and then I get out of bed, had breakfast and looked at the outfit and thought.....I so don't wanna wear that today.  Doesn't happen that often, but I had to think quick...since I apparently take forever and a day to get ready. lol (Long story short, I wake up at 6am and I had to be at work at 8:30 and literally live 3mins from my work and barely made it) Anyways, I decided to go with a basic blak sheath dress, which by the way is several sizes to big, which is why I added the belt, then I topped it out with this amazing garage sale find, the jewel toned jacket.  Isn't it nice, when you unexpectedly throw together something you love at the last second.

Back to the grind after a long weekend....Hope everyone enjoyed the 4th of July.  I got to spend some much needed rest time with my family.  I'm feeling rejuvinated and ready to get back into the swing of things.  Today, I decided to go with pants instead of a skirt, because....honestly...it felt like a Monday and after driving the 6hrs home yesterday I wanted an easy, but stylish outfit.

Most of my outfit, minus the heels and the grey bracelet, are all new purchases.  I went to Bealls on my way home yesterday and purchased 2 items. Also, my mom and I hit up Cato and walmart.  I got the Dots bracelet a few wks ago, but this is the 1st time I've worn it.  Wearing a new outfit always feels good and this one was no exceptiong.  I felt comfortable, but professional. :)  Happy Monday, well Tuesday....short weeks are so confusing, but oh so nice!!!! ~Kendra~
